Loire organic wines 

100% Chenin blanc. Certified organic. Very lemony, hint of honey note. High acidity but not sharp. Refreshing and clean.

Vegetal and grassy on the nose carries through the palate. A bit medicinal.  2015. 13.5%.

Very leafy. Fresh black current note. Medium fine tannins. Some species and dark ripe berries on the finish.

2015 More aromatic compared to the Saumur. Riper, darker, round and ripe. Quite pleasant.

2015. Lots of spices on the nose. Dark fruit but lighter on the palate compared to the Moulin des Quints.

2016. As the label suggests, this Chinon (100% Cabernet Franc) is really soft on the palate and is ready to drink.

2016.  12.5%

Equally soft and easy to drink. When did Chino become so approachable? Really enjoy this.

2016. 12.5%

More noticeable tannins but not astringent. Less intense than the Chinons.

2016. 13.5% Gamay. A bit savoury. But really noticeable ripe red berries and some lifted minty note.

2015. 13% organic and biodynamic.

1994 organic. 2007 biodyvin. Domaine de Juchepie. 

Creamy oak. Medium acidity. Good fruit concentration.

Chateau de Passavant. 1998 organic, 2007 start Biodynamic. 2011Demeter. 55.ha. 

22ha. Chenin, others are Cabernet franc and grolleau. Anjou Saumur is about easier to do organic because of the slate soil. 

Pure fruit intensity. 

In Anjou-Saumur. 700 grower who sell the grapes to coop.  350 independent growers.140 organic 20 biodynamic

One year in oak. 18 month ageing.Quite distinct fruit intensity. Very good.
