The Crus of Loire

The two crus of Touraine: Oisly and Chenonceaux. Oisly on the hill, Chenonceaux on the slightly lower valley.

Touraine Oisly

100% Sauvignon Blanc. Peach and hint of grassy note. Medium + acidity. Quite delicate and subtle. 2016. 13.5% ABV.

Blossoms, hint of peach on nose. Quite grassy on palate. 2016. 12% ABV.

Bit reductive initially leading to subtle grassy and medicinal nose. Round and juicy on the palate with lingering acidity. 2016. 13.5%.

In comparison to Touraine Oisly, more fruit expression. Acidity still high but balanced by the fruit.  ( Terra Vitis) 2015. 13.5% ABV.

Fresh grassy on the nose. Medium acidity. Round. Hint of ripe apricot. 2015.13% ABV.
